The holidays are over…tomorrow is school and I’m not happy about that. The holidays were quite good. I did a lot with some friends and had a trip to Nelson with my host family. Well I saw a lot there and had a lot of fun. I would like to show a lot photos but… I had a lot of stupid moments. I forgot the memory card for my camera, I broke my charger, took suncream instead of toothpaste and stepped into a puddle.
However it was cool! We had a walk up to the centre of New Zealand, which was kinda (REALLY) exhausting but funny and worth it. We had dinner with friends of the family and played cluedo. We went to the Pic’s Peanut Factory, the WOW Museum (wearable arts and old cars museum) and the Nelson Provincial Museum. We had rolled ice cream and were at McDonalds for the first time in New Zealand but, it wasn’t really different to Germany.
The trip was really nice, I’m really thankful for my hostfamily, taking me with you!♥
Anyway, I realized that I just have 8 weeks left until I’ll be back in Germany. I have 10 School days left (I think), which is nothing and, I’m nearly 3 months in New Zealand. That’s all pretty crazy because it felt so short. However, I’m not done yet. I’ll have some nice trips with some nice people and more lazy movie days:)!

Moinmoin Amelie, your former Englisch teacher here. So a little more time and you will come back? Time flies doesn’t it? Senna you are having a great time! Happy you cause it is summer at the end of the world whereas we are entering the time where the sun never rises (at least that’s the way it feels for me🙄). Enjoy your remaining time and see you back at school!
