Why is my host brother eating bread crumbs?

First, sorry that I’m late. I’ll start with my weekend. It was amazing! On Saturday, my host mother Trudi and I drove to Christchurch and had a walk. Christchurch is a really beautiful city! I noticed that the water is damn clear! I regret that I didn’t take my camera with me, but when spring comes, I’ll in any case go again to Christchurch and take a looooooot of pictures.

Also found this “Kiwi Exercise Block”, in Christchurch, which is totally my dads sense of humor, I think :). I regret, that I didn’t buy it, but it was too expensive…

In Sunday we drove to Hanmer Springs. It’s a little town 1h and 30min away from Rangiora. We took a walk up on a hill. It was really funny and also exhausting. On the top we took some pictures and enjoyed the fabulous view. Back to the car we got some scones and fruits. I also met my teacher from my German School (greetings to Ms Howie!). That was a really funny coincidence because her motel was directly next to our car. After a short break we went over to the hot pools. It was way too cold outside, but it was way better in the pools. The only bad thing was, that it smelled like sulphur, which was gross.

About school I just can say, that I enjoyed it! I just changed photography into drama. Photography was a little bit boring because everyone had their work to do and I just sat there and had nothing to do. I’m anyway happier in drama. English is cool because I can just read in the lessons, maths is pretty easy and kinda fun, art is my favourite subject, there are nice people and I really do something in this class. I changed also Biology from year 11 to year 12, which is way better cause the other students are much polite.

And now I have to apologize dear teachers. I’ll probably change music because the level of the theory is waaaay too high for me and I do not feel very comfortable in this class. Maybe I can keep the piano lessons.

Next Sunday I’ll write a longer blog. I promise but for now I’m really tired and just want to sleep.
